Sri Guru Harkrishan Sen. Sec. Public School, G.T. Road, Amritsar, a front runner in the chain of institutions is the first school in the region to be affiliated to CBSE. Founded in the name of Sri Guru Harkrishan Sahib Ji, the eighth guru of the Sikhs, the school was established in 1967 under the flagship of Chief Khalsa Diwan. During the span of 54 years, the school has taken large strides in academics and sports arena leaving a trail of glorious achievements behind it. It is located on the G.T. There are many opportunities to develop skills at a higher level by representing the school in most of the inter-school sports events as well as being coached for District and National Level.
